A gift that gets used

A family cookbook, ready for the holidays

Gather recipes from everyone, keep the handwritten cards and the stories, and turn it into a book you can print. Start now and it is ready by December.

Photograph the card. Kitchen types it up, and the card itself stays with the recipe, handwriting and all.

How it works

Three steps

Start a cookbook

Name it, then add your own recipes: type them, paste them, or photograph the cards.

Invite the family

Send one link. Aunts, cousins and grandparents add their recipes and the stories behind them.

Print the book

Kitchen Plus lays it out as a print-ready book, in the order you choose. Print at home or at any print shop.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Do you print and ship the book?

Not yet. Kitchen makes the print-ready book; you print it at home or take it to a print shop. Leave a couple of weeks before the holidays.

Does everyone need to pay?

No. Family can add recipes on a free account. Printing the book needs Kitchen Plus ($5 a month).

Can I keep the handwritten cards in it?

The card photos stay with each recipe in Kitchen, so the family can always see the original.

Is the cookbook public?

Only if you choose. Cookbooks are private to the people you invite by default.
